Who We Are

Catherine Connon, PhD

Catherine is the founder and primary consultant for Helicase Forensics. With nearly 20 years experience as a forensic biologist, Catherine has served in the private sector processing biological evidence in criminal cases using traditional DNA analysis methods. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in the Department of Forensic Science. She also currently assists forensic laboratories and law enforcement agencies develop investigative leads for unidentified human remains and no-suspect cases.
